Classic Meatloaf Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 350g ground beef
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 onion
  • 20g breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp spicy ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepper to taste

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. Prepare the Mixture:
    • In a food processor, combine the parsley and onion. Blend for a few seconds until finely chopped.
    • Add the breadcrumbs and pulse briefly to combine.
  3. Season the Meat:
    • In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, ketchup, egg, and nutmeg.
    • Add the parsley, onion, and breadcrumb mixture. Blend or mix everything until evenly combined.

    • Shape the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish. Alternatively, press it into a loaf or cake mold for a neater presentation.
  5. Bake the Meatloaf:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until fully cooked through and browned on top.
