Ingredients
- 2 ribeye steaks (or your preferred cut)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the Steaks
Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides. - Cook the Steaks
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook to your desired doneness (approximately 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare). Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest. - Make the Garlic Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). - Deglaze the Pan
Pour in the beef broth, stirring to loosen any browned bits from the skillet. - Create the Cream Sauce
Add heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well and let the sauce simmer until it thickens (about 3–5 minutes). - Serve
Plate the steaks and generously spoon the garlic cream sauce over them. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For a lighter option, substitute beef broth with vegetable broth.
- Pairs beautifully with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
